verb sensation adalah verb yg berhubungan dengan panca indra manusia, misalkan: see, watch, notice, observe, look at, listen, hear, feel, smell dpt diikuti verb ing as present prticiple atau bare infinitive (verbI). e.g.
HapusFather watched the children playing in the garden.
we smell something burning.
seeing the sky is something boring...

mam, saya mau tanya. bagaimana dgn kalimat "the news is interesting" dan " it is an interesting news"?. begitu juga dg kalimat " my heart is broken" dan "Iam broken heart"? apakah kalimat2 tersebut disebut juga dengan participle?
BalasHapusit is an interesting news is as participle adjective because interesting here modifies noun (news). that the news is interesting has same function as adjective .my heart is broken and I am broken heart are idiom and also as past participle
Hapuspast participle is also used to make a noun phrase where the past participle is placed before a noun.
For examples:
Broken home
Broken heart
lost time
murdered people

want here is non progressive verb so in tense it can't be formed in verb ing because it doesn't do activity, but the e.g. above doesn't show about tense .

crying baby and baby crying have the same meaning.

if baby crying is followed by phrase before predicate
So although they have little different but they are same as present participle, is that right?
